Ways to Love our Worcester neighbors
Friday, April 10
Hello Living Word Church, Thanks so much to many of you who have prayed and responded to my "Love Your Neighbor Day" post from last Friday. Many of you shared with me how you have donated funds to purchase masks for those in need or are making masks yourselves. Glory to God!
Here is another opportunity to love our neighbors around our city that I was just made aware of:
The city of Worcester is asking for our help to find volunteer delivery drivers who are able to deliver meals to seniors who are unable to leave their homes.
They are asking volunteers to commit to serving the same day each week and delivering approximately 20-30 meals which would take several hours.
If you are interested please email Stacy McGann at email@example.com.
And let me know as well! This is a great opportunity to love our neighbors in need and to do so from a safe distance
Let's be encouraged and challenged by the words of Jesus who said in Matthew 25:34-35: "Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in" Finally, there is one more thing that I want to invite us all to do this week to love our neighbors: Invite them to Come and Hear the Good News of Jesus
Invite them to join you for our virtual Good Friday Service today at 6pm streamed live on Facebook and on our church website livingwordworcester.com
Also invite them to join us again on Sunday for Easter at 10:30am
As you are watching on facebook hit the "share" feature so that your friends will be invited to see it and and feel free share the advertisements we send out on facebook and instagram as well.
These are easy ways we can invite others to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ!
Looking forward to worshiping Jesus with you all tonight! Pastor Daniel Condon
