Happy Friday Living Word Church,
I wanted to remind us all that next Saturday, July 25th we will be having a mini Day of Hope event at our Church from 12pm-4pm. I know many of us have participated or served in our Day of Hope events in the past. This year will obviously be a lot different due to the coronavirus pandemic but we are still so thankful to the Lord that we have the opportunity to share the love and hope of Christ with our community again this year through this event.
As in years past, this year we will be giving away a variety of goods to all who attend including: basic toiletries, food items, adult and children's clothing, shoes, diapers and more. If you know of anyone who is in significant need of these items please invite them to come and even bring them yourself! During the event, we will be streaming in a live band which will be playing uplifting Christian music. And we will be available to pray with anyone who desires prayer. Here are some ways you can be involved:
Pray!! Pray that God would lead those in our community who are in desperate need of hope and love to join us that day
Invite!! Again invite anyone who you believe would be blessed by attending and help bring them if they need help.
We have also been walking around our community passing out invitations and spreading the word. If you are interested in helping us, reply and let me know
