Hi Living Word Church,
God Bless you all. Today I wanted to share several things with you all. Some of us may have watched these already, but our church has created two videos so far in response to George Floyd's killing in which we discuss racism in our society and how we can respond in love to one another in this moment and beyond. If you have yet to do so, I invite you to check them out. Here are the links to those two videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gK735iJpBxY&t=185s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnMIVH2Yz-M&t=1s
Last week, I shared that we will be offering a free seminar to raise awareness on sex and human trafficking on Saturday, June 27th from 10am-12pm via Zoom. Many of us have asked to participate already. I am inviting all of us to please consider doing so. This is a vital way we can begin praying for and loving our neighbors who are trapped in sexual enslavement.

We're asking everyone to login in to Zoom at least 5 minutes early and the meeting login will close at 10:15am and people will not be able to continue logging after that so please be on time if you plan to participate.
Finally, this Saturday June 13th from 8am-4pm we will be having a work-day at the church to help prepare for our re-opening. If you feel comfortable coming out to work, feel free to do so. You can stay as little or as long as you would like. Please bring your face masks and work gloves. This is a tangible way for us to love the neighbors in our church through acts of service. Love from your neighbor,
Pastor Daniel 1 John 3:16-18 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
