Friday, April 3 Hello Living Word Church, This is Pastor Daniel here to talk about how we can love our neighbors during this COVID-19 epidemic and beyond it. And this week I want to share something from the city of Worcester... The City is asking for help in fighting the virus and caring for those in need and provided a page on their website on ways we can help: http://www.worcesterma.gov/coronavirus/help Ways include: 1) Sewing face masks (a tutorial video is included on the page) 2) Volunteering as a medical volunteer or in an emergency shelter (they state that volunteers are desperately needed) 3) Donating to local charities that are providing relief I invite you to: check out the link, pray and ask the Lord to lead you if any of these opportunities to love our neighbors around the city are right for you. I personally signed up to serve in the emergency shelters that have been opened around the city and if you are interested in doing this with me sign up through the site and let me know. Also, there are certain restrictions for those who wish to volunteer. Feel free to reply and let me know if you have any questions or feedback or to just let me know how you are doing! And as always continue to pray for your neighbors today (your friends, co-workers, family and whoever else God may put on your heart and mind). And reach out to them with the love of Jesus Christ. Here is a prayer request from the Apostle Paul that I would you like us to keep praying for one another: Ephesians 6:19-20 "Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should."
