What started as a Swedish Pentecostal Mission in 1922, soon became Mt. Elim Pentecostal Church which was located on Piedmont St. The church location moved several times over the years, and even changed names several times. When we moved to Bell Hill, we became Belmont Full Gospel Church, and then we joined forces with the Assemblies of God and became First Assembly of God, and moved to Grove St.  When we outgrew the facilities, we moved to our current location on Tyler-Prentice Rd. God has been so good to us, and we want to honor HIM and honor those who came before us.
